We’re headed back to AC! Join us Wednesday, December 6th for the IANJ Annual Meeting Event at the Borgata Hotel, Casino & Spa in Atlantic City, NJ (in conjunction with the NJ Turfgrass & Landscape Conference). Members are encouraged to attend this yearly event that combines association business, educational opportunities and a networking social event!  Earn valuable CECs in water conservation toward your license renewal by attending the workshop sessions during the day. Enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres during the evening reception and business meeting, where you’ll hear an update on the activities of the IANJ, our legislative initiatives, and presentation of the IANJ Lifetime Achievement Award. Board trustees for 2024 will also be announced.

EDUCATIONAL SESSION: Dripline Installation-Design Considerations and Methods for Various Situations
John Raffiani – 4 CECs (Water Conservation)
Central Conference Center, Lower Level, Room 3
A great course for anyone from beginner to advanced.  Many updated designs, techniques, uses and a brand new concept that combines the pressure regulation of spray heads with dripline applications by utilizing Control Kits to offset the high cost of pressure regulating mist heads.  Additional topics include water movement in soils, calculating water requirements and proper scheduling to round out an information-packed course.

EDUCATIONAL SESSION: Scheduling For Water Conservation - Past, Present & Future
John Raffiani - 4 CECs (Water Conservation)
Central Conference Center, Lower Level, Room 3
A real deep dive into the science and math behind applying water to landscapes that will make anyone THINK more about the nuts and bolts of how to schedule with confidence. Topics include program design, controller selection, sensors, alternate water saving products, the economics of saving water and upselling your client on the need.
